So loud you are rapt from slumber and even if the lightning didn't strike you...
you are jolted awake like electricity scouring across your flesh.
Maybe your inner body feels it... the atoms acquiring the substantial electrons
that were cast out from the lightning...
amplified by the inertia of reverberating static
either way... you are awake...
and maybe your ears are wallowing in shock..
was it that loud...
or did it only sound that loud because your ears were sleeping?
and then you roll over...
cause it's way too dark to elaborate the possibilities of waking
and your mind throws out a thought...
assuming it was actually your mind...
and you weren't still connected to some random channel of theta or gamma waves...

WHY
it's like 4am... and it's thunderstorming outside
and we have a brick house
and maybe the neighbors got eletrocuted last night...
because that shit was loud
and it happened twice.
but for some reason.... you must ask questions about this stuff...
not to mention the fact that you also had the thought of thinking....
whether or not each time a loud boom and lightning strike like that happens,
if you get sucked into the fold of the dimensional rift...
and you did switch dimensions..
so you were the one hearing it!
BAM! Thanks for that 4am brain thoughts...
and then you carry on with whether you will you be able to tell the difference
between the dimension you left and the one you traveled to!
and if so, how much would you be able to catch?!

.So today was rather joyful....
and as I write this blog post...
Brain is debating whether we truly did get sucked into a different dimension

and there's something so wonderfully weird going through today
and it feels absolutely amazing!
and I can guarantee whatever happens...
will work out tremendously in my favor

I'm on Chapter 30
and it's all the hum drum kinda tying things up...
because that future storyline isn't ready yet...
...and my MC doesn't want to play with one of the other situations anymore....
and so I have to leave it to other characters...
...
and it's like this inbetween before other things come to the forefront...
and I'm not expecting a cliff hanger ending, thankfully! (I hope)
more narrative ...which to me is ...boring... but fills in some gaps easily...
without creating conversations where nothing happens...
(because in screenwriting 101
you don't talk the story... you show the story....)
and nothing is happening, so much as giving a rest from the happenings...
and opening a window to future happenings....
I'm considering certain things to end it with, but none of them feel correct
so I'll just do the winging it thing... and let them tell me how they want to end the book
